Visiting my parents house and by the front door is a giveaway box with my old Tyco race track, and some misc train stuff. They can keep the train stuff, I'm taking my tyco track back.

Holy shit I think I had something like that when I was 5. Don't know what happened to it and I never knew what it was...I just knew I had the most awesome slot car track in the world.
I have to find it.

That reminds me, there's a huge box of two generations-worth of Scalextric at my parents' house. Some of it was my dad's (and probably his brothers'), some of it was bought for and by us kids. Pretty sure there's not a single working car in there, but there are miles and miles of track and barriers.
I'd really better make sure it doesn't get thrown away.
